About Us

 At age 7, my daughter was diagnosed with Dravet Syndrome, a rare, lifelong form of epilepsy causing prolonged seizures from infancy. Despite enduring over 15 hospitalizations due to prolonged seizures, we persevered through numerous appointments and test, eventually discovering the optimal medication blend for seizure control.  As a parent, Shakira's future is a constant concern. Despite her seizure disorder and developmental hurdles, she finds joy and purpose in small ventures like volunteering helping in the family business selling Epilepsy Awareness t-shirt and dog apparel.  We believe there's hope for those battling Epilepsy.
